Styling

Before the styling day, we conduct a detailed review of all items procured for the project alongside any existing pieces you wish to incorporate. We assess condition, placement potential, and how each item will contribute to the overall composition of the space. This preparation ensures the styling process itself is considered and purposeful rather than reactive.

We develop a clear plan for how each room will be styled, mapping out the arrangement of furniture, objects, and decorative layers in advance. We consider scale, balance, and visual hierarchy, thinking carefully about sightlines from key positions in the room and how spaces flow into one another. Thoughtful planning at this stage is what gives a styled interior its sense of effortless order.

With the plan in place, we begin the physical arrangement of the space, positioning larger furniture pieces first to establish the structure of each room. We assess proportion and scale in the actual space, making real-time refinements where needed to ensure that the layout feels instinctively right and that every piece is given the space it deserves.

The final layer of styling is where a space truly comes alive. We introduce textiles, lighting, art, plants, books, and objects with care, building depth and personality through considered layering. Each detail is placed with intention, and nothing is added without purpose. This is where the warmth and individuality of your home is established, ensuring it feels lived in and genuinely personal.

Once styling is complete, we walk through every room with you, explaining the choices made and welcoming your thoughts. If anything does not feel quite right, we adjust it together. The goal is a home that reflects you completely, and we do not consider the project finished until you feel that it does.
